  2. i don't know where to post this, really - atwater village has a message board, but i couldn't find one for echo park. i don't have a phone so i don't know how to contact the police. but, i wanted to warn women in echo park that a very scary man is out there - he followed me tonight around 2 a.m. as i walked my dogs trying to block my path with his vehicle & yelling 'hey, get over here'. he was in a green mini van that was a little louder than your average car, but not as loud as having no muffler. he was a chubby latino male with short hair & he appeared to have at least one gold or silver tooth - he might have had more - in the front of his mouth. he'd been sitting on laveta terrace (sp?) two blocks up from sunset when he first started harassing me & then he followed me in his mini-van up laguna. so, i don't know if this comment will do much good - but i really felt the need to post somewhere about this creep since i don't have any sort of phone to contact the police.
